We are delighted to share the successful Freshers’ Orientation Program for the Fall Semester 2025 (Batch 252), hosted by the Department of English on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, in Room A-302. The event was a vibrant affair, successfully laying an inspiring and hopeful foundation for our newest students' academic journey. We were honored and delighted to have among us our Honorable Special Guest, Prof. Dr. Khawza Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed, Pro Vice Chancellor and Acting Dean. Faculty members from the Department of English graced the occasion, offering a wide, welcoming presence.

The program's formal proceedings began with a warm Welcome Address from Dr. Serajum Munira, Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Language and Cultural Studies (CLCS). All English faculty members warmly introduced themselves in short segments, ensuring the students felt personally welcomed from the start.

Adding an enjoyable element, Associate Professor Dr. Md. Elham Hossain, Department of English, enhanced the event's atmosphere by telling a story through songs.
Assistant Professor Mohammad Golam Mohiuddin, Department of English, graced us with his presence.

The formal sessions also included inspiring speeches from a fresher, Nurun Nahar Sultana, and the Club Representative Speech from Tasmiah Bushra, Vice President of the English Club.

A sincere Vote of Thanks was delivered by the Chairperson of the Department of English, appreciating the English Club for organizing such a successful program. The event concluded with an organized photo session of the students with the respected faculty members and the Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor. Refreshments and snacks were arranged for all attendees.
