Congratulations to Prof. Dr. M. Shahidullah on His Appointment as Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences

We are thrilled to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Dr. M. Shahidullah on his remarkable achievement of becoming the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Green University of Bangladesh. This prestigious appointment is truly well-deserved, given his exceptional career and vast experience.

Prof. Dr. Shahidullah’s illustrious journey includes serving as the Professor of the Department of English, Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Rajshahi University, and Director of the Institute of English & Other Languages. Throughout his distinguished career, he has significantly impacted the academic landscape of Bangladesh, shaping and inspiring generations of scholars.

Currently serving as the Chairperson of the Department of English at Green University of Bangladesh, Prof. Dr. Shahidullah has dedicated over 40 years to teaching and mentoring students. His commitment to academic excellence and his unwavering support for faculty and students make him a pivotal figure in our academic community.

Under his dynamic leadership, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Green University of Bangladesh is bound to reach new heights. His dedication to fostering academic quality and nurturing a culture of intellectual growth will undoubtedly guide the faculty and inspire future generations of scholars.

To celebrate his well-deserved appointment, the Department of English at Green University of Bangladesh organized a special program on Friday, 28 July 2023. We were honored to have distinguished guests from various departments, including the Department of Sociology and Anthropology and the Department of Journalism and Media Communication. Among the attendees were:
