Farewell and Welcome Ceremony for the English Club's New Committee

With immense pleasure, we would like to share that on Friday, November 03, 2023, the English Club of the Department of English bid a heartfelt farewell to the former committee and warmly welcomed the newly elected committee members. The event was held at 12:15 PM in Room no 302.

The ceremony was graced by Prof. K. M. Wazed Kabir, Honourable Treasurer of Green University of Bangladesh, who attended as the Chief Guest. The event was conducted by Prof. Dr. M. Shahidullah, Chairperson of the Department of English and Dean (Acting), Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), who served as the Session Chair.

The farewell and welcome event was meticulously organized by the Club Moderator Ms. Munira Nawar and Deputy Moderator Mr. M. Ashiqur Rahaman Sourav, alongside the English Club, to celebrate the transition of leadership. The newly elected committee members were introduced, having proven their potential and popularity through a democratic election held on October 05, 2023.

The colorful and vibrant event not only marked the end of the former committee's tenure but also signified a fresh start for the new leadership. We extend our congratulations to the newly elected members and look forward to their leadership in continuing to strengthen the English Club and its activities.a
