Workshop on Publishing in Scopus-Indexed Journals

The Department of English at Green University of Bangladesh hosted an insightful workshop titled “How to Get Your Articles Published in Scopus-Indexed Journals” on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 2 PM. The session was facilitated by Dr. Md. Kamrul Hasan, Professor and Chairperson of the Department of English, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, United International University.

The workshop aimed to provide valuable guidance on the process of publishing research articles in reputable Scopus-indexed journals. It was an enriching experience for the attendees, as Dr. Hasan shared expert insights on research publication strategies and best practices.

The event was graced by the presence of the Honorable Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Khawja Iftekhar Uddin Ahmed, who joined us as the special guest. The workshop was presided over by Professor Dr. M. Shahidullah, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and Chairperson of the Department of English.

Other distinguished guests included Dr. Habib Mohammad Ali, Chairperson of the JMC Department, and Ahmed Al Mansur, Director of GCiA. The workshop saw participation from all faculty members of the Department of English and CLCS, with a few faculty members from other departments also attending.

This workshop provided an excellent platform for faculty members to enhance their research and publishing skills, further contributing to the academic growth of the university.
